Ho Ho Ying The Path I Pursue (Special Interview In Chinese)
b'This is a special interview with my Dad to introduce his latest publication, Ho\\xa0Ho\\xa0Ying: The Path I Pursue\\u201d\\xa0\\uff08\\u4f55\\u548c\\u5e94\\uff1a\\u6211\\u8ffd\\u9042\\u7684\\u8def). \\xa0In this interview he will be sharing about his favourite artworks featured in his recent art exhibition Ho Ho Ying: The Path I Pursue in 2021 at Jendela (Visual Arts Space). \\xa0My father, Ho\\xa0Ho\\xa0Ying, (Chinese: \\u4f55\\u548c\\u5e94) is\\xa0a\\xa0pioneer\\xa0Singapore modern art artist (co-founder of Singapore Modern Art Society) who\\xa0is\\xa0renowned for his visionary\\xa0and avant-garde approach to art.\\xa0 In 2012, he received the Cultural Medallion Award for his contribution\\xa0to the Singapore arts scene. For\\xa0over\\xa060 years, Ho\\xa0Ho\\xa0Ying has been painting passionately, expressing freely his\\xa0visions of the\\xa0world around him, making him one of the\\xa0most\\xa0established\\xa0and versatile contemporary\\xa0local\\xa0artists. \\xa0Besides painting, my father is also an accomplished author under his reputed moniker\\xa0\\u5b50\\u6728(Z\\u01d0 M\\xf9), and an art critic for the Singapore visual arts community.\\nIn this interview, he will introduce his book and share his creative process and explain how he developed his own unique hybrid of modern Western and Chinese Creative Calligraphy in 1995 called \\u201cBan\\xa0Bian\\xa0Shu\\u201d (\\u534a\\u8fb9\\u4e66), literally half side of the world.\\xa0 Get to know him and be inspired by his passion in art.
