I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro\\u2019s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizens\\u2019 Councilor or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to \\u201corder\\u201d than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: \\u201cI agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action\\u201d; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man\\u2019s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a \\u201cmore convenient season.\\u201d

The new administration is faced with real racism, exposed as never before.\\xa0 They also are facing a media, that left unchecked since the Fairness Doctrine of 1947 was repealed in the 1980's has led to the rise of talk radio and in turn the rise of extremism.\\xa0 How this in turn has been used by the Trump campaign to create a following that is ignorant to the truth about the vote and angry about a caste system designed by the very elite like Trump.\\xa0

How will the new administration, in the midst of a pandemic, clean up this mess?\\xa0 And what is our role in helping engage those who still do not believe the results of the election?\\xa0 It's a pretty jam-packed STRUNG OUT.
