Softspoken, funny, a natural storyteller.\\xa0 Those are the first words that come to mind when talking to Ron Lazzeretti.\\xa0 But he is a hard-working songwriter, crafting lyrics and biting down on each word to see if has gold, or fool's gold.\\xa0 Ron Lazzeretti is an artist. And like so many singer-songwriters around Chicago, feeds that habit by working "side gigs." He is a filmmaker, an advertising executive, a writer.\\xa0 His movies have been directed by such notables as Michael Keaton. \\xa0 But, to draw those accomplishments out is something that takes a bit of coaxing.\\xa0 Lazzeretti is also one of these rare humans that treasures the now of making music.\\xa0 He recalls situations and people with such joy that one can visualize each experience as a well-thumbed and worn leather bound book.\\xa0 Lovingly pulled from the shelf and read again for the pure pleasure of it. \\xa0 Check out some of his work at his website or see and hear the upcoming tracks of his album coming out in September of 2023, Fat Head Sunday Paper on his YouTube channel.
