b"Katie Barnes is the Coastal Stewardship Manager for Audubon Louisiana, and they do a ton of research with beach nesting birds in South Louisiana. We talk about the main 3 species - Least Terns, Wilson's Plovers, and Common Nighthawks. Barrier islands and beaches in Louisiana are important habitat for these birds and Katie tells us about that and stories about their research.
