With this bright declaration, Miasa uses cross stitch to create Black loving and Black affirming pieces that will tell a story long after she\'s completed the project. She uses her craft as way to create a tangible, meaningful, and handmade legacy. At a young age, bereavement fuelled her desire for those ancestral traces found in handmade things. Now she is making her own.
