b'Tobiah Mundt is an artist and creative with a powerful acumen for natural and other fibers. Her project Blue Black Black Blue is a testament to pressure/s placed on the lives of Black people. Using the techniques of tufting and needlefelting, Tobiah explores notions of Black suffering, grief, resilience, and pain. Tobiah extends her creative pursuits beyond her individual projects by supporting the art of craft for everyone at The Hive, the Art Bar and maker space she co-owns in Charlottesville, Virginia.'
