Ty Herndon is a country singer who has been at it for going on 30 years. He has been spotlighted several times as being the first openly gay country singer. His career has been a rollercoaster to say the least. He is managing to survive, and has even played a few shows in the pandemic. He re worked his Christmas album "Re-Gifted" with Kristin Chenoweth with the song "Orphans of God" . I have known him for a few years, and I have to say, it was hard having a professional conversation with him. Being the staunch critic of country music, and not a fan of Christmas music, I have to say, this album really had some surprises for me, and we talked about why.
