Selected Tragedy Vol 1 - Tragic Origins

Published: Nov. 21, 2014, 12:28 p.m.

The first episode (or volume as we like to think of them) of Selected Tragedy. These shows are themed collections of highlights from three years of tragedy. We will be putting out weekly volumes of selected tragedy until our live shows start up again in February 2015. Vol 1 takes us through Stand Up Tragedy's Tragic Origins and gives you a sense of what the show is about and why it began and how it's developed and evolved over the years. It brings together performances from Josie Long, Eddie Pepitone, Andy Zaltzman and SUT host Dave Pickering, as well as some interviews and commentary. It doesn't include a performance from Stewart Lee, but it does include a story about a performance from Stewart Lee. It's a really good introduction to what we do, so if you enjoy it please share the tragedy with your friends.
