Undercover (but not undercover enough) on Saarnguard isle

I finally set off to Saarnguard isle. Naturally the great hero of the land sir Croakington would be recognized there so a magical ring of disguise is provided.
I warp to the island and after fighting some goblins make a good first impression and so face what is probably not an accident and prooves nearly fatal.
Such is danger in this endeavor that not even the fortress of thane is safe any more.
