I grew up in Russia, started singing before my first birthday and spent most of my childhood dreaming about becoming a big star. At ten, after failing at ballet, swimming, gymnastics and volleyball, I finally demanded to be put in a music school, where I chose classical guitar as my instrument and somehow ended up becoming a lead singer and acoustic guitarist of a country and bluegrass band (we\'re still in Russia at this point, you\'re following?) that later moved to Nashville, TN and became known as Bering Strait. Twenty years, one Jazz College, five major record deals, two country albums, one movie (The Ballad Of Bering Strait that you can now watch in Hulu) and one GRAMMY NOMINATION later, I\'m on my own, there\'s a new SOLO ALBUM out, and I\'m about to go back to the studio to record two more.
