Several weeks ago, Mercy announced that all employees will be forced to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Britany Hartzel and Wendy Watson join Nick Reed this morning to talk about the mandated vaccines. Britany has been a nurse for the past five years. Wendy has been a nurse for 11 years. Britany took care of the very first COVID patient in Springfield and has been working the frontlines ever since. They are not anti-vax, they are pro-choice when it comes to vaccines. They believe in evidence-based practice, informed consent, and being able to ask questions about the vaccine. The pressure to get the vaccine within the healthcare system is unreal. So what happens if you don’t get the vaccine? Britany explains what many workers have been told.
