Hour 3 -  Nick Reed talks about a variety of topics in the news, including: President Biden's pick to lead Customs and Border Protection once faced allegations that he had discriminated against Black officers and made racist jokes at work – claims that were ultimately rejected by a jury and described by the nominee as "entirely bogus." A new non-profit media group created by former Mayor Tom Carlson is partnering with MSU. Carlson stated he created the group to “restore what we’ve lost” in Springfield’s local news media. The city of San Francisco temporarily closed an In-N-Out fast-food restaurant over the company’s refusal to force customers to prove they are vaccinated against the coronavirus. Southwest Airlines is dropping plans to put unvaccinated workers that are still waiting to be approved for a medical or religious exemption on unpaid leave starting in December.
