Nixa parents are going back and forth about banned books. There are also claims that the Nixa school board made other changes after banning certain books earlier this year. ALSO - Chris Stark joins Nick Reed this morning: Serenity Honors is hosting a Veterans food drive. Serenity is up to 2 tons of food now! She is attempting to reach 4 ton. Chris gives us an update on Serenity's upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. On Oct. 4, Serenity will be on The Lone Eagle Honor Flight. She was also granted a huge honor. She will have a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
