Nick shares a story from the editor of Reason, Matt Welch. Matt was traveling from California to New York City when his flight was cancelled. The news reported that it was due to thunderstorms. Matt called JetBlue and was informed there would be no available flights from Southern California to the East Coast for the next five days. Seems a bit extreme for a brief weather event, Matt told the customer rep. "It's not the weather," they said. "It's the FAA." A new survey shows that former President Donald Trump is leading among independent voters in a potential head-to-head matchup against President Biden.
