In March 2020, when Covid-19 shut down sports, acclaimed sports journalist Jane McManus came on to discuss what was happening as the pandemic shut down the sports world. 10 agonizing months later, the pandemic is surging, yet the vaccine has arrived. She also focuses on how money and politics put some sports, namely college football, in peril.\n\nMcManus is the Director of the Center for Sports Communication at Marist College in New York. She is also a sports columnist for Deadspin, and hosts \u201cThe Ladies Podcast\u201d with Julie DiCaro.
