The final chapters here are kind of anti-climactic in some ways, if I'm honest. The whole sort-of confrontation with the sun is taken acre of off-page by Roshaun, and I'm still not particularly impressed with him. I find it kind of odd how that went, TBH. At least what's going on RE: Alaalu is more compelling, because the Lone One gets foiled by a dog, which is pretty rad. But overall this book felt a little more passive than some of the others have. I'm interested in seeing where we go next!
