These chapters are mostly focused on Nita trying to figure out the best way to help her mom, and as of this point she still hasn't told Kit what's going on. It's understandable, because she's got this power at the tips of her fingers, that she would think this is something doable, but I figured that if it were as easy as all that there'd be no cancer at all.
Meanwhile, Kit is still wondering why she hasn't got back to him, and I admire how little anxiety he seems to have about it because I think in his place, I would be assuming all kinds of shit.
