These chapters, we're finally getting a little more to the heart of the issues that Zomi is here to talk about. She decides to show up looking shabby to really point out that she's poor, unlike every other yahoo in the audience hall. She really makes a big show of letting everyone know that she's only here because she fed the judges' opinions back to them, and it's pretty incredible. And oh yeah, there's a riot happening.
Then there's the flashback to the moment when Luan makes Zomi her first brace, and when they discover the lava flowers. It's a really sweet series of scenes, and I'm not pleased by the plumes of smoke we see coming from the area where the little town used to be. Booooooooooooooo
