The Time Of Contempt- Episode 1
Hey there, everyone! Melanie has commissioned the start of the next book in the Witcher series, so here I am with The Time Of Contempt!
This book has the same dense political background as the other, but I'm feeling a lot more sure-footed this time because of having done a bit of studying thanks to Melanie's resources, and paying really close attention during the last book.
This time around, we don't start out with Ciri and her adventures. In fact, we only see her once, very briefly, from someone else's point of view. Instead of someone we're familiar with, we spend most of our time in the head of a messenger named Aplegatt, and the poor man is not destined to live long.
