This is the last of the redo sections, and after this one we will be getting into new territory. I'm honestly a little worried about it. I hate the world that this is set in, and I'm really imagining some horrific shit could be coming. Everything is too idyllic right now, and Acorn is growing a little too prosperous to continue flying under the radar the way they are. I don't like any of this.
Meanwhile, there's a whole subtext happening with Olamina's daughter, a sort of undercurrent of resentment that I find interesting. I really wonder what that is about.
