The Obelisk Gate- Episode 3
Many thanks to Denise for commissioning this episode! I'm so glad that this episode will be followed by a few others coming up, because this story (while always fascinating) is really starting to pick up steam.
In these chapters, we've got a lot more information about everything that has been happening with Nassun. It's really something that I'm as invested in Nassun as I am, because I really didn't care about her at all just last book, even though she was the main motivation for Essun. I just didn't know enough about her, but now I'm really interested in what's going on with her, for....obvious reasons.
As for Essun, she seems to be basically settling into the commune in a more permanent fashion, and she's being given the job of training all the other baby orogenes. Hoo boy.
