Meanwhile, Julia and Quentin head to the underworld, and Julia is stunned to find out that Persephone is Our Lady Underground, and that she's disappeared from the underworld as well. She gets the chance to get her shade back, but appears to sacrifice that chance for the sake of Alice.
Penny is trying to get the head librarian's book for tips on how to get into the Poison Room and in an attempt to seduce her, finds himself an ally in the kid supervisor.
