This one is where we find out that the spring in Fillory is responsible for the magic on earth as well, and that if the Beast decides to drink it dry, there's an end to magic everywhere. I find it strange that this is only just being mentioned, considering how huge that is and that the consumption of the wellspring is kind of old news, but whatever.
Meanwhile, we find out that Elliot has a dirty little secret that could mean the welfare of his people is finally insured whether magic returns or not.
