What if CS Lewis what a monster who abused children and then profited off them as a source for stories that he pretended were a lot more family-friendly than the reality? Thanks to Mathy (who commissioned this week's episode) now we get to find out!
This episode might be one of my favorites so far, in some ways, because there's a sort of coming-of-age built into it for Quentin, despite the fact that he's like 20-something. Quentin has always been obsessed with Fillory, and finding out that this mythical place is actually real was an understandably big deal...but Plover, the esteemed author, is another matter. This is someone that Quentin idolized since childhood, and he watches in no uncertain terms as this man commits horrific abuses.
I would almost feel bad for Quentin, since most of us can relate to seeing an admired person fall from their pedestal, if only Quentin didn't suck QUITE so much.

Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
