These chapters are focused on some new characters (I think mostly because I failed to keep to my designated time last episode) and the one that is the most entertaining is definitely Eithan. He's just such a weirdo and seems to delight in the crises of the average person, but not in a way that suggest that he doesn't care. It's more like he's watching a movie and can't wait to see what happens next.
Then there's Jai Long, who is not nearly so whimsical, but who is still fascinating in his way. He's been rejected by his family after performing a feat of heroism that resulted in his disfigurement, and he has a serious axe to grind. I'm all about him getting his revenge because honestly I kind of hate his family too.
