Hi there, lovelies! Let's talk about a heist!
I'm a big fan of this book, both because it has done a nice job melding recognizable elements from our world with magic, and because it jumps from one POV to the other which I tend to be a sucker for. It's the Libra in me, what can I say.
In this trio of chapters, our motley band of miscreants all gathers in the same room for the first time to discuss their plans, their skills, and their target. We get a couple new POVs from Matthias and Jesper, and we find out a little more about how this world works. There's also something rather interesting about Kaz's aversion to skin-on-skin contact, which would explain why he wears gloves all the time, but I'm really curious what causes that revulsion to rise up in him. And also, Matthias is a bit of a big dumb ox but I rather like him.
