I'm really glad that I reached the chapters where Alina gets in touch with her power before my vacation! And I'm pleased that despite the fact that Alina is able to finally reach it, she's not suddenly able to access the LEVEL of power that would be needed to eliminate the Fold, so there's still something else that needs to be overcome.
Also, I'm very much here for the court intrigue and the way that the infighting simmers just below the surface of everything. There's a new player here, named Zoya, and we've met her before...but she didn't seem quite as unpleasant there as she does here.
