This is becoming one of my favorite books to cover merely due to the fact that I have no idea what's coming. I've got some little theories, of course, and there is a certain rhythm that stories like this tend to follow, but in this case the main character is so very...different, much more shrouded in mystery than other plucky young protagonists. What's interesting is that normally while there are plenty of secrets surrounding a character like this, usually they're not the ones keeping the secret. In this case, Nona is hiding a lot.
