High Wizardry- Episode 4
Thank you so much to Tristen for commissioning this episode! I'm really loving this book, and I'm fascinated by the variety of ways that this author has utilized magic and different methods of using it.
In these chapters, one of the most fascinating things happens; Dairine connects her magical computer to the actual planet itself that she's sitting on, which is made of the same conductive material as a computer chip, and in essence brings consciousness to a blank slate. It's HUGE and I have no idea what happens next, bu basically she's playing the role of the Apple Of Wisdom, and I'm blown away.
Meanwhile, Kit and Nita are trying to track her down, and they find out that the Lone One is really zeroing in on Dairine for some reason. In fact, things have gotten so urgent for the Lone One that he's fine with obliterating an entire solar system to kill Nita and Kit. YIKES.
