I'm having so much fun with these books! These chapters are really compelling because Nona figures out how to undo the threadwork that the Holothour used to make all of the girls forget what happened in the caves. They go back, and there's a battle of wills that Nona wins. And then, there's a Shade Trial that doesn't go how anyone expected.
