Deadwood, S01E01- Deadwood
I am really excited to be starting a whole new TV series for Spoil Me! because so far the only one I've been doing is Veronica Mars, so everyone say thanks to Patrick for commissioning practically the whole first season of Deadwood!
This show is really gripping so far, and I have been experiencing one of the most acute cases of "BUT I WANNA WATCH THE NEXT ONE NOW!" that I've had since Hannibal. This first episode does a beautiful job setting up the main players, showing up who they are and where they draw their moral lines. Also there's an intensity to the location that's almost claustrophobic, and it makes a lot of sense that the show is simply named for where it all takes place.
