I want to thank Jill, who commissioned the first five episodes of Dark, for getting me into this show with a swiftness and consistency that I suspect is going to be very important as things continue.
This first episode is really a whole fucking lot. There's moving pieces everywhere, and there's a whole slew of characters that I have to learn and keep track of, so I hope that you can all bear with me as I learn their names and what their connections are to one another.
i'm very interested in the way that time travel is working in this world, because it's clearly happening but it seems like it's in the most beginning stages, as if someone is still experimenting. At least, based on the creepiness of the scene with Erik, it all seems really rudimentary. Oof. I don't like it.
