So DAMN Y'ALL! Shit really went fucking LEFT!
I feel like this is probably the most major death we've seen on-page, right? Like, we see Sabriel's dad die, but he just goes into Death and it's not nearly this traumatic, if I remember correctly. Then of course there's the fakeout of Sabriel herself and Touchstone, which doesn't count, and...who else? I think that's really it. So yeah, seeing Jaciel's fucking HEAD GET CHOPPED OFF is pretty goddamn intense.
Anyway, there's other stuff that happens too, like meeting the king, who seems like a real shit. I hope he dies.
