In these chapters, we've got our friends working on getting through the Blackflame trials and really pushing themselves, as Eithan assigns Cassian to oversee the whole system and really challenge Yerin and Lindon. Meanwhile, Yerin and Lindon are about to just tear the damn trial apart with their bare hands out of pure frustration.
Then we spend some time with Suriel, and she's tracking down the trail of Ozriel, who seems to have run across some trouble. It's hard to know for sure, but it looks like he was in the middle of leaving her a message when he was attacked and taken down. Yikes. What could take someone like HIM down?
