Addendum: Some Japanese biologists believe that a new species of\xa0Mola\xa0should be acknowledged, named\xa0Mola\xa0alexandrini\xa0(bump-head sunfish). They have noticeable genetic and phenotypic differences from other\xa0Mola mola, with whom they are usually grouped. If\xa0Mola alexandrini\xa0is indeed a different species to\xa0Mola mola, then the bump-head sunfish (not the ocean sunfish) holds the title of largest sunfish specimen ever found.
