Not many shed light on the struggle of an Autism Parent. The highs and lows that come with parenting an Autistic child are far greater than with a child who develops without disabilities. \\nSHANTAL STONE\\xa0was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 2, 1991. She is the youngest of six children. She joined the Army when she was nineteen, and has been deployed to Afghanistan during her time in the Army. She received an honorable discharge, and later relocated to Houston, Texas. After she received her Associate of Science degree, she went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health.
