This is a fictional novel based on true events. It is about three youths being raised in the
\\nhousing projects of Paul M. Pearson Gardens. While facing their struggles of growing up
\\nin the Ghettos and adapting to the streets of the Virgin Islands, they become a product
\\nof their environment, where crime and violence are a normal part of their everyday lives.
\\nMoney, guns, and drugs became their passion. With no positive influences for them to look
\\nup to, they follow and embrace the negativity that comes from the streets. Unfortunately,
\\nit\\u2019s a revolving cycle in the hood. Getting caught up in it is very easy, but the consequences
\\nthat follow are severely hard.
\\nThis story is based in the era of the late \\u201980s and \\u201990s during the crack epidemic that
\\nplagued America and the effects it had on the Virgin Islands.
\\nKishawnie Henry aka Billy Blasta, was born and raised in the Virgin Islands. Growing up in the housing projects of Paul M. Pearson Gardens, aka the Ghettos, he became a product of his environment and was shot and paralyzed at the age of seventeen.
\\nBeing removed from the physical aspects of the streets, he developed a passion for writing. With music being his first love, he wrote and produced several mixtapes and albums before deciding to explore his talent in writing a book.
