We all know that some people find clowns creepy \\u2013 and funeral directors as well as taxidermists too. But why. What is \\u2018creepiness\\u2019 and can it be studied? And when we encounter robots that are almost human, but not quite, why do we feel as if we\\u2019re in what\\u2019s called \\u2018the uncanny valley\\u2019? Our Professor of Creepy Studies (who happens to be a robot) explains.
