Coffee at the Skullgate is a new series in which each episode Chris Vandyke, Skullgate's president and lord of all, sits down with an author who's contributed to something Skullgate or is otherwise part of our extended family and... well, just has a chat about them, their work, and whatever other interesting things happen to come up.

In this inaugural episode, Chris speaks to Allison N. Moore.

Allison has been a key contributor to both volumes of Tales From the Year Between, and in this conversation she and Chris talk about her writing history, her interest in creating complex characters, and her goals as a writer.

Allison is a stay-at-home mom who lives in Minnesota. She may look sweet and innocent, but her characters know better.  She is querying her first adult fantasy novel, Legends of Annun: The Godstones - Book 1 of the Sylex Meadowbrooke Chronicles. She has stories in both Achten Tan: Land of Dust & Bone and Under New Suns.
