Joan of Arc is said to have heard voices \\u2013 strange, unearthly voices. So Cieri\\u2019s score,\\xa0by turns visceral and transcendent, includes Sardinian vocal quartet\\xa0Tenores de Ater\\xfae in the ensemble of musicians. Best known\\xa0for his music for various Ken Burns films, among his many film scores, Cieri\\xa0recently completed a major new work for carillon bells.
