Did you know that you are omnipotent? It may not seem like it, as so many of us feel powerless, like we\u2019re buffeted around by the seemingly random sh*t that happens. We\u2019re all familiar with that modern-day piece of wisdom that \u201csh*t happens\u201d!
And while I am not trying to say that we have ultimate control over all that shows up in our lives, there is one area where we do have control, where we are omnipotent, and that is in how we choose to think about all that is going on. And how we think about things will be reflected in how we react to people, circumstances and events. That is entirely up to us!\xa0
For many of us, however, that will involve raising our awareness and achieving a level of mindfulness to become aware of what\u2019s going on betwixt our ears. Without that awareness, we\u2019re at the mercy of our programming and conditioning. And what is that? Basically, it\u2019s how we\u2019ve been brainwashed. It\u2019s all the ideas about ourselves and about life that we absorbed as children and that have become a part of the operating system that is the subconscious mind.\xa0
But it doesn\u2019t stop there, and this is where it gets serious - because we experience in life what our brainwashing leads us to expect. So if you expect that life is hard and that there\u2019s always a calamity around the corner just waiting to screw you over, that\u2019s what you\u2019re going to experience in life. Because thoughts are creative energy that attract experiences to you.\xa0
