The Tuesday Podcast 6-12-18 [Season 2, Episode 11]
Welcome back to another episode of The Tuesday Podcast. This week I have the Pioneer CDJ2000Nexus2's and DJM900SRT in the studio (thanks to my good friend Eric Rubio aka DJ Freeze). I have a few events this summer coming up and I've already recorded Mixtape Monday and my WCW Series on Mixcloud (links below) on this unit. I had to do a little bit of studying on this because there are a lot more features than what I'm used to. Nonetheless, it didn't take long before I started using it in the club this weekend (and recorded a few mixes). Tonight's Podcast is pretty straightforward, I started out with some Pop Jams, roll into some current Hip-Hop and R&B, then some EDM and a few Twerk mixes as well. There's a few tempo flips (I like to call them) in this mix because I believe that's the one thing that makes a difference. Making sure transitions are clean, and when they aren't, knowing how to correct them and continue the mix.
