Published: Jan. 27, 2018, 2:12 p.m.

Gary Wright helped to establish the synthesizer as a leading instrument in rock and pop music in the mid 1970's.  Before launching his solo career, he was an original member of Spooky Tooth with other musicians that went on to play with Foreigner, Humble Pie, and Mott The Hoople.  Throughout his career, Gary played with others including his friend, George Harrison.  Gary's career reached its pinnacle in 1975 with his The Dream Weaver album, which had two singles reach #2 on the charts.  In October of 2010, Classic Artists Today's Ray White talked with Gary about his latest solo album - Connected, along with highlights from his early years.  Gary re-released his 1972 album with Wonderwall titled Ring Of Changes, in the summer of 2016.  In our Spotlight Segment, we feature Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Van Morrison, whose two 2017 albums were Roll With The Punches and Versatile.  Learn more about our show at http://www.classicartiststoday.com
