Tonight, we were joined by a colleague of Al's, Philippe Polman.\\xa0 You can't tell it from his name, but Philippe received his aviation training in the US.\\xa0 Today, he\\xa0lives in the United Kingdom, which serves\\xa0as a base for his work with Cirrus across all of Europe.\\xa0 We've heard so many rumors and stories about what flying is like across the pond, it was refreshing to hear the\\xa0truth\\xa0from Philippe.\\xa0 Everything from training, operations, costs, techniques, and rules.\\xa0 He even gave us some insight as to which apps were most popular (here's a hint...\\xa0 It's not ForeFlight).\\xa0 And as far as costs, can you imagine running over to the control tower to give the controller a credit card for your landing fee, while he is controlling traffic?\\xa0 It happens!\\xa0 But most of all, Philippe shares with us the experience of multi-country flying.\\xa0 Somehow flying to the south of France for a $100 le petit dejeuner sounds a lot more exciting than a burger in Anytown, USA.

Let us know if you liked the show and join us next week when we welcome a guest to talk with us about the next generation of aviation festivals!\\xa0 Thanks for listening!!!
