I love HostGator ( https://www.hostgator.com/?affpat=1&clickid=T4Wx5MXtJxyJUmzwUx0Mo381Ukn1FhXlszfiX80&irgwc=1&mpid=393620 ) & my tech website friend recommends DreamHost ( https://mbsy.co/DclHp ). (I talk more about hosting in episode 6 of this season as well.) * If you’re using a Wordpress free theme work at c ustomizing it yourself, f ind a professional designer— use the nifty designer search tool here ( http://99designs.qvig.net/5bgg0j ) —or check out these guys and the awesome sites they create. ( https://shrsl.com/2fhll ) * Look into Search Engine Optimization. The free resource I mentioned: This is the helpful free resource ( https://app.neilpatel.com/en/ubersuggest/overview?keyword=cut+out+cookies〈=en&locId=2840 ) for choosing valuable, well-searched key words. (2-3 searches a day). Decide best wording (see what google says) use that in title & 1 subtitle and a few times in article so google knows what you’re writing about. Learn how to get it pinned. A lot. And see if you can get strong backlinks to it. But if you want to dive in and learn from a pro, my friend Kelly of StickyBlogging seriously teaches you everything you need to know about SEO and it all starts with the great free content she has for you right here. ( https://stickyblogging.com/enroll/?ref=180 ) * Set up an email service, with MailChimp ( http://eepurl.com/gJ5oYz ) , ConvertKit ( https://mbsy.co/convertkit/51164871 ) , or Flodesk ( https://flodesk.com/c/RESTED ). Then create funnel ebooks or printable or exclusive access videos. Decide 3-4 topics and create something irresistible. (I use *Canva Pro* ) Store it in google drive or dropbox or on website then create shareable links and share that as a url that auto pops up when subscribe. Create 3-4 sets of emails that eventually offers them a product you’re selling in that category and then adds them into your weekly email when they’re done the funnel. * Start social media accounts, creating all the accounts in the same name as your blog’s name. (My ig isn’t) Finally, consider learning from a true pro, with Lisa’s classes *Create Your Blog Dream* ( https://create-your-blog-dream.teachable.com/?affcode=238264_rjdqs0_u ) *and* *Video for Bloggers* ( https://create-your-blog-dream.teachable.com/p/video-for-bloggers/?238264_rjdqs0_u= ).
