“Whenever possible, be kind. It is always possible.” - Dalai Lama

This is a quote I’ve recited many times. And I have personally, with some surprise, come to believe it’s truth.

But what about someone with a history of trauma?

What about someone in an abusive relationship?

What about the victim of violence?

Are we to tell these people they should suck it up and be kind? No matter how hard that might be for them?

Well, if you work with me, you’ll never be pushed in that way.

However, it is also undeniable that kindness is beneficial to your health and well-being.

So how do we resolve the two?

In today’s episode, I offer two simple and easy practices that require no more than 7 minutes a day for the next two weeks.

I hope you’re able to try them!
