Ah! The holidays!!! What a wonderful time of year! Right?
\nBut also, what a stressful time of year!!!
\nIt\u2019s very easy to look at all the pressures this time of year - the cooking, the presents, the wrapping, the parties, the traffic - as \u2018stressful\u2019 activities.
\nBut not only is this an inaccurate way of looking at these things, labeling them as \u2018stressful\u2019 is actually making it all much more difficult and stress-inducing.
\nThe reason is that the stress is happening in our perception of these things, and not in the things themselves.
\nAnd mindfulness is a wonderful way to change this perception and reduce the stress response to all the aspects of our lives.
\nThis is why I am offering a mini coaching program, starting next Monday, 12/14.
