Our Ego - the image we have of ourselves that we show the world - is mostly based on the patterns and implicit biases we develop in the very early stages of our lives.
\nThese patterns and biases, instead of being formed intentionally, are created unconsciously by our parents, teachers, coaches, etc.
\nIt becomes the model by which we judge \u2018the right way to be.\u2019
\nBut all this influence is not simply unconscious.
\nIt is really unconsciously passed down through several generations before us.
\nFor this reason, this thing we call our ego is often very detached and dissonant from what is our authentic self.
\nAnd the more dissonance, the greater levels of stress, anxiety, depression, and addiction issues we are likely to experience.
\nAlso, the more dissonance, the less happiness, and satisfaction we will know.
\nWould you like to intentionally align with your authentic self?
