\nAnd when we practice FORGIVENESS, we allow ourselves happiness, joy, and balance even in the face of intentional wrongdoing by another.
\nThe result of all these practices has less to do with the object of the practice - ie: the person who has done something to harm us - and much more to do with our own well being.
