EP 310: Seeing Our Emotional Triggers

As we gain a vivid image of our emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations, as happens through meditation practice, we get to see the most important thing of all: emotional triggers.

\nWhen we develop self awareness through these daily practices, we gain the ability to see our triggers before they\u2019re upon us.
\n
\nThis allows us to avoid the reactivity that usually results in saying or doing something we later regret.
\n
\nAnd when we avoid these actions, we avoid the feelings of shake that usually accompany them.
\n
\nAnd in the absence of shame, we can learn and grow in the face of our emotional difficulties.
